It’s up to you! The RUX 70L Core is obviously the starting point. That gets you a durable 70L container to store and haul your gear. Add a Tri-Fold Lid if you want to contain your gear and protect it from the elements. Add shoulder straps if you want more carry options, such as market carry, over the shoulder or as a backpack. And lastly add compression straps if you’d like a second layer of security for your lid, or the ability to compress your RUX 70L flat or partially flattened.

Can I mix colors? Can I mix colors?

Yes absolutely, that’s part of the fun. You can choose a different color for each part of your customized RUX 70L. Want a simple Black Core with bold Orange Straps? Go for it. You might even add utility if it helps you tell your RUX 70Ls apart.

How does this differ from a standard RUX 70L? How does this differ from a standard RUX 70L?

Standard RUX 70Ls come with all of these same parts (Core, Lid, Shoulder Straps and Compression Straps). The difference here with our Build Your RUX 70L feature is that you can chose only the parts you need, or mismatch the colors. For example, you might want four RUX 70L Core units for storage in your garage, plus 1 fully built up RUX 70L as a your active go-bag.

Great Products
RUX makes some of the best lightweight versatile products available. I started with one and now have a fleet of RUX products. These are great for any personal travel except for Airlines. Hopefully RUX with change that and come up with a product that is secure enough for Airline Travel. Overlanding, camping, car trips or personal aircraft are the perfect fit for these products. The totes that fit inside make it great to keep all separate and to keep a few items handy for quick use. Keep the innovations coming!
