A few of us from RUX just got back from Denver, and it was a good reminder of why we love building in this space.
OMA Media Show brought together a tight mix of brands, media, and industry folks, and we showed up with something we’ve been working toward for a long time.
Actually… a few things.
On March 16, we’re officially launching:
- The RUX Duffel Box in 55L and 75L
- The RUX Waterproof Tote Bag in 15L and 50L
Many of you first saw these during Kickstarter. We’re proud to say we’re on track to have them available on our site mid-March.
In Denver, we did something we’ve wanted to do for a while. We built out the entire RUX system on one wall so people could see how it all connects.
Not just a bag.
Not just a duffel.
A full wide-mouth gear management system.
Duffel Boxes next to Waterproof Totes.
Coolers integrated with organizers.
Straps, panels, and accessories working across the lineup.
Standing there and walking people through it, you could see the lightbulbs go on.
Some pictured the perfect travel setup.
Some saw river days cleaned up and contained.
Some saw ski trips, van life, or finally organizing the gear garage.
That’s what we’ve always believed in. One system. Built to adapt to how you actually use your gear.
One highlight from the show was the Duffel Box being awarded Most Innovative Product by FatManLittleTrail. That meant a lot to our team. We’ve poured serious thought into how travel gear should open, carry, protect, and integrate, so it was great to see that resonate.
We also got to share space with great brands like Paka, Lems, and Mammut, and connect with a bunch of other thoughtful builders. The overall vibe felt healthy and focused. A lot of good conversations about durability, modularity, and making products that last.
That kind of energy fuels us.
We wrapped the trip with an Avalanche game that turned into one of those unpredictable finishes that keeps everyone on their feet. A fitting end to a packed week before heading home.
Now we’re back, regrouping, and getting everything lined up for launch.
