RUX Waterproof Duffel Box

RUX Waterproof Duffel Box
The wide-mouth duffel, built for water and dust.
The RUX Waterproof Duffel Box opens across the full length of the bag, so your gear stays visible and easy to reach. No digging, no long zipper to fail. Box Mode keeps access quick. Burrito Mode rolls down for a tighter travel profile.
55L: Two to four days of kit. Carry-on capable in Burrito Mode.
75L: Longer trips, bulky gear, or one load shared between two people.
Built with 840-denier TPU-coated nylon, RF-welded seams, and no zippers. Three turns of the roll-top make the seal. Inside, the soft utility rails keep your pockets, panels, and bags you already own clipped in and secured. Backed for life.

WIDE-MOUTH PACKING
Everything visible. Nothing hidden.
The opening runs the full length of the bag, so your whole loadout is right in front of you. No digging to the bottom. No unpacking half the bag to find one thing. No repacking after.
Unroll it and it stands open on its stiffened base, on wet ground or dry, with the whole load in view and both hands free.
SEGMENTED ROLL-TOP
The seal is the roll.
Most duffels get their wide opening from a long zipper, and that zipper is the first thing to fail and the first place water gets in. We left it out. The patent-pending segmented roll-top gives the sealing edge a surface to roll against, so three tight turns close the bag against water and dust.
Unroll it, and the same top opens the full length of the bag. Close it over the top in Box Mode for quick access through the day, or roll it down and buckle it low in Burrito Mode when the water shows up.
840D TPU-COATED NYLON
Nothing on it is waiting to leak.
The body is 840-denier nylon with TPU on both faces, a coating that does not rot, delaminate, or crack in the cold when the bag stays wet. The seams on the body and the 420-denier roll-top hood are RF welded rather than sewn, so the panels are fused into one piece with no needle holes for water to wick through.
That is where the weight goes. The 55L is 4.01 lb, well over a pound more than the Duffel Box, and the difference is the coated fabric and the stiffened base. It is designed to form a waterproof seal when the roll-top is closed correctly, and it is not meant for prolonged submersion.
PLAYS WELL WITH
Built to work across the RUX system.
The rails inside are the same across the system, so the pockets, panels, and bags you already own clip straight in. An Organizer Panel 30x30 or a Pocket 6L mounts in five positions in the 55L and six in the 75L, and the Waterproof Packing Bag, Cube, and Pocket nest inside. Nothing you buy for one RUX is stranded there.

WHICH ONE?
Pick by where the bag rides, not by the number.
Choose the 55L for two to four days of kit and carry-on capable travel in Burrito Mode. Run with the 75L for longer trips, bulkier gear, or one load shared between two people. Either way, this is the duffel for gear that rides outside.
ON THE WATER
This one, rolled three times.
A raft, a skiff, a ferry deck in weather. Roll the top down, buckle it low, and lash it to the deck. The same three turns that seal it against spray seal it against the dust of the road in.
IN THE TRUCK BED
For hours of highway rain.
Strap it in and forget it. Coated fabric and welded seams keep the water out, the stiffened base keeps it flat, and the sleeping bag comes out dry.
FLYING WITH IT
Built to travel smaller
Roll the duffel box down into Burrito Mode and it compresses around the load. The 55L is designed to be carry-on capable, but airline limits vary, so check your carrier first.
LONGER TRIPS
75L when the gear gets bigger
Longer trips, bulkier equipment, or one load shared between two people. Same wide-mouth access, same three-turn seal, more room.
THREE TYPES
Built for different kinds of hard use.
One architecture in three materials. Same wide-mouth opening, same segmented roll-top, same rails inside. Pick by what the trip does to the bag.
PACK IT YOUR WAY
Use Bags to divide the main compartment, Panels to add structure, Pockets to keep small gear close, and Waterproof Packing Bags to separate wet or dirty kit. The system gives you a starting point, but the layout is yours.
CARRY + CLOSURE
Two ways to close it. Three rolls seal it either way.
The Waterproof Duffel Box changes with the load. Keep it open when you are in and out of it all day, roll it three turns and it is sealed, carry it by hand or over the shoulder, or strap it down when it is along for the ride.
BOX MODE
Fast access when the bag stays active.
Roll the top over three turns and close it above the load when you are in and out of it all day. Sealed, and quick to open again.
BURRITO MODE
Three turns, buckled low
Press the air out, roll the top down the sides three times, and buckle it to the lower clips. Same seal, tighter load, and how the 55L makes carry-on size.
HAND CARRY
Grab it and go.
Two short nylon webbing handles for quick moves between the house, vehicle, dock, or trailhead.
SHOULDER CARRY
Hands free when you need them.
Two padded removable shoulder straps for when your hands are already full or the walk gets longer.
LASH IT DOWN
Not every trip needs a handle.
Hypalon lash points run all the way around, so it straps to a rack, raft, sled, or truck bed and stays put.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
REAL-WORLD PROOF
What owners have to say.
The best test is what happens after the first trip. Read what RUX owners have to say about how the Duffel Box packs, carries, and holds up over time.
BACKED FOR LIFE
Buy once. Then keep it.
The lifetime guarantee is a design constraint. We took the zipper out before it could fail, and the parts that are left, a buckle, a strap, a snap, are parts we can put in the post. Tell us what broke and it ships, anywhere in the world, and your bag goes back into service. The most environmental thing you can do is buy good things and look after them.
WHY RUX
Less friction. More of what you want to do.
A full life comes with a lot of gear. The right system gives it a place, keeps it ready, and removes the friction between deciding to go and actually going.
That is why we build one system instead of a shelf of separate products.
PACK SMARTER
Pack by access. Keep the things you need first near the top, group the gear that travels together, and load the bag the night before. Less digging. Less repacking. More time getting where you are going.
